tranny fluid help
mopar af+4 and a bottle of friction modifier, about $20 at the dealer.
i find that the atock fluid is cheaper and perfectly fine, and it should be changed frequently enough that it shouldn't be breaking down anyway.

did you mean atf+4? and why does this transmission use automatic tranny fluid????? about how much do i put in the transmission. i just emptied it thru the drain plug and pulled the tranny out. so it should be rather empty.
yea atf apparnetly the "t" didn't type lol
our trannys are designed to use auto tranny fluid, it's easier for mother mopar to use the same fluid in all transmissions than to use gear oil in some and atf in others.

so i went to a dodge dealer this morning to pick up tranny fluid and the friction modifier. well they tell me my tranny takes a gallon of fluid and there is no such friction modifier that they sell. so now im completly confused....because they said they dont sell a "friction modifier" and that i shouldnt be adding anything to the atf+4 because it ruis the fluid.
your dealer is a retard. go somewhere else or just tell them to give you what you want and that they're idiots. you need three quarts of atf+4 and a bottle of friction modifier (try "lsd additive", sometimes they understand that better).
can i buy this friction modifier anywhere else? is there a name brand all the dodge dealers are quite a drive from my house and with my work schedual i dont have the time to make these trips frequently. i plan on putting my car back together sat. once i get this friction modifier, and figure out where all the lines run from my solenoids lol.
