Default "Ghetto" OCC!!!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=42604

According to this guy, the $20 OCC a lot of us have put on our SRT-4s is a "ghetto" part...OUCH!!!![sm=guilty.gif]

I've been waiting for someone to come out with something like this...anything for a buck, I guess.[sm=smiley5.gif]

Anybody that says "sucks" and "your parts ghetto" in their ebay auction needs to get a clue.....

Tsk tsk bad marketing skills....[sm=icon_beat.gif]

The "ghetto" catch can has worked for many with no complaints....and the "ghetto" catch can saves money which can be used for other mods.....[sm=dontgetit.gif] we'll have to see if his part is superior somehow

my "ghetto can" catches lots of oil that would otherwise be detrimental to my engine. I like the ghetto.

this guy machined his out of Alum. I think... didn't read the whole thing I confess...

he sells it for cheaper than name brand parts... so those without the "know" think they are saving bundles of green... haha... (as I stated in a General Forums thread - ignorance isn't bliss!)

I like my "ghetto" can... the blue cap on the "catch can" matches my blue car haha...

He MAY have a good product but like SexySRTChick says, it's bad marketing to trash an option that a lot of people already have.....who is going to dump their current OCC and buy his after that? Unless he can show without a doubt his product is superior, he's fighting an uphill battle.....my $20 OCC works fine, and I haven't heard of any complaints from other DF members....

Quick question about the $20 occ. I bought my air filter from Lowe's and it has a filter stone in it. Should I leave it in or take it out?

Thanks

I took mine out based on the postings on srtforums about how it seemed to remove more oil...which makes sense, the stone filter would just "clog" the airflow and prevent the air/oil mist from falling to the bottom of the OCC....
