Yeah, the new hoses are only a couple of dollars. BTW, the little arrow on the top of the OCC needs to be facing towards the throttle body (in the direction of the flow from the PCV valve to the throttle body)......

Yeh, I know they're on right, it just looks that way to make the hoses fit.

Are you talking about the white stuff? If you are you have a leak. I never had any white stuff in mine until the bowl cracked. Thats the main reasion I got this one, much thicker plastic. Here is what it should look like.

How about an update. Well no leaks, and I drain it about once a month, I could go longer. I really think this one is much better that the $20 one. For the main reasion if you forget to drain it is't going to get too full.

One of my OCC's, the PCV one, has milky oil in it from the cold. The condensation from the repeated heating and cooling mixing with the oil makes a lovely milky mix.

my getto catch can works great why spend all kinds of money on something that just catches oil for you { like the greedy for $70 bucks thats a rip} I wouldnt spend no more then twenty on it
