I had to take mine to a muffler shop to get a fix. Even then, after a few thousand miles, I'll have to take it in again. Thank goodness for a warranty.....

they usually put another hanger on to help even it out. if it's really bad they might heat up the pipe with a flame and bend the pipes into alignment. but even if they do that it never stays that way lol

Midas adjusted mine in 3-4 minutes. It has shifted a little since then, but it doesn't look as bad as it did.....I'd really try to keep yours from hitting the car, though. And my driver's side is higher than the passenger side as well.

The hangers welded onto the pipes are bendable, the hangers on the car are bendable (to a point) but dont get carried away. I'm guessing the pipes are twisting in the clamps because the clamps are too loose or a bad fit maybe. Also, you cant really get a good adjustment if you have the car jacked up unevenly. I finally got my Corsa straight after much dinking around with clamps and shaking the pipes, (with the car on the ground) driving a day or two and then adjusting them again. It took about half a dozen fine tuning sessions, but I finally got it and havent had to touch it for at least 6 months now. BTW, I did 90% of the adjusting with the clamps. When it was all said and done, the the hangers ended up very close to the original locations.

like already mentioned by someone, i bent the factory hanger support on the car and that helped some but when the exhaust gets hot it warps and gets real messed up. i added 2 hangers with trailer hitch style bolts that slide into rail openings in the body so i wouldn't have to drill holes. i also used a clear rust preventive sealer on the hangers and used stainless clamps so pipes wouldn't get rusty. now it's real solid and aligned perfectly. a lot of the problem was because the mopar cb pipe behind the muffler was welded on crooked throwing the entire rear section out of alignment.
