You're not alone! I was so upset yesterday that I forgot to set my clocks back one hour for DST and walked into work at 0400 hours this morning instead of my usual 0500....went and found an empty office to get my hour's sleep that I missed!

sorry to hear about your car, i wish i had a picture of my sisters car after one of her "friends" keyed the crap out of it, it started in the hood, fender, door, rear fender, trunk, spoiler, and rear bumper. but thats not it, they knocked one of her side exhaust down. That was just three weeks after she bought it. I hope you wont have to pay 2 much. Good luck!!!

all this reminds me of Vincent, in the movie "Pulp Fiction"... just heartless and wrong...

and people wonder why I keep my car hidden in a garage most of the time and don't want to leave it alone in a parking lot... You can't trust anybody...

you said you were in uniform right Dusty?? that might have "helped" in this guys decision to "leave his mark" on your car... either way, bum deal!!!

Yeah, I thought about that, too. There was a guy who was staring at me when I got of out of the car, that's why I had that weird feeling and stopped to look back at the car before I went inside.

At any rate, it's going in the shop tomorrow morning for a fix. At least it's only a small area, maybe a foot or less in length, and there's no dent, so hopefully the repainting will be fairly quick and a little less costly than a regular "body repair". (Hey, I can dream, can't I??? [sm=sigh.gif])

BTW, thanks everyone for the words of support!!!

If I had the resources I would invent a locking car cover that is not only dust, dirt and rain proof, but also solvent/acid and key proof. If this is even possible.

Damn, Jim. I am real sorry to hear about your experience. I regularly park as far from entrances as possible to avoid even a door ding and I can't imagine what I'd do if I caught someone keying my baby. Karma will come back on the guy and he'll get his in the end no matter what.

that does suck man, body work is crazy expensive nowadays. I caught someone keying my car there'd be some major hell to pay.
