I was thinking about having a 3 inch cat back put on my car, but what would be the best resonator to put on it, or can I get away with a straight pipe. Its a 04 with AGP waste gate, turbos Xs manuel boost controller, and some AM bov located just before the intercooler( I havent had time to pull it off to see who makes it) sounds good though, also has a K&N typhoon short ram intake.

 

You don't "need" a resonator ..... all it does is keep things quieter.

Magnaflow has a really nice resantor check them out and some towns cops dont like loud exhausts to avoid expensive tickets a resanotor would be something to check into getting.

 

Okay thanks, yea the cops are like that here, has anyone heard if the dynomax bullet muffler/ resonator is any good for our cars?

 

Ive heard of it a friend of mine has one on his srt4 and sounds nice tamed his down some . Should go to your local muffler shop and see what they sell for resantors .

 

a resinator is a resinator. just find a cheap one and put it on.

 

You get what you pay for that means if you get a cheapy than it will be crap. I would just get what you want magnaflow is a real nice one for a good price about the best resantor around .

 

What makes magnaflow better than any other resinator ?...

 

Its a name brand and magnaflow is the 2nd best performance exhaust around so you cant go wrong with there products .
