ive been researching the web and i belive im experiencing turbo surge. im not 100% on this but if so, does anyone have a f!@#$%* cure im goin crazy, i dont want my turbo crapping out on me.

i'm going to assume that you have a wga/mbc on the stock turbo? welcome to part throttle overboost. you can't fix it. learn to live with it. it's either 20% or 100% throttle. you need to relearn how to drive your car.

 

i dont have a stock turbo. does that change anything?

 

what turbo do you have and what is your wga and mbc set at

 

i believe its a 50 trim but i could be wrong.i dont know what my wga and mbc are set at?

 

What you are hearing is either noise from your intake....... or the normal noise a HKS BOV will make at low boost. IMO

Mine does this too.... stock turbo, stock WGA, and no boost controller, also stock stage 0 ECU. I do have a BOV, (compressor mounted like forge, hooked up w/ the pink line) and an AEM Short intake. The only clean release I get is at high boost. I talked to a fellow SRT 4 owner the other day and his friend said "dude that's a lot of compressor surge.. that sounds bad" As far as I know this is normal on our cars... Is this true??
