Took the mechanics advise, put the car back to stock last night (removed the Typhoon and installed the stock air intake and factory filter). Took it for a ride and then drove to work this morning (apx10 miles) seens to be better. Time will tell.

Thats what I thought, its was on the car for 3 years and no problem. Well its stock again, the weather here in South Florida's been crappy so I haven't played too much but it does seem to run better. I am going to give it a chance and if it continues to run well I will put back the CAI just for ****s and giggles. Let you know what happens.[/align]

Its been a week and the car is back to stock everything even the catch can. Seems to be ok, I want to give it some more time then maybe I will slowly put my stuff back on and see if I can pin point the problem.

Guess what, the car's going back to the dealer tomorrow. Its not running as smooth as it should (tried to keep and hold 1500 rpm, up and down the tach went), backfires more when I decelerate and accelerate slowly you can feel almost what feels as a miss fire but its not felt on hard acceleration. Lets see what they come up with now.

The dealer did a great job (NOT). Its just like it was when I brought it in a few weeks ago. They said they could notduplicatethe problem even though the head mechanic heard and felt it when I took him for a test drive. Here's the best, I get a rental car due to my extended warranty, but because they couldn't find anything wrong with my car on the first day they had it (didn't get a call to pick it up until Monday morning 3 days later) that the dealer wasn't going to pay for the rental (already called the Chrysler warranty company and they too haven't been able to get any answers from the dealer yet) The head service writter said that they can't always fix everything that comes in for service and if I want, I should bring it to another dealer for service and maybe they can fix it.Now thats a better level of bull**** then before.

wow, that dealer sucks. has the irratic throttle been persistant? the TPS is acommon issue on the cars. as far as the dealer, you contacted Chrysler (good move) and informed them of the issues. i would go to another dealership and get a second opinion. seems like you gotta return to stock just to get serviced, otherwise they will blame whatever mods you have done

Spoke to the Chrysler Service Dept, they will note my dissatifaction with the dealer and also suggested trying another dealer. When I bring it in for service I will mention the TPS and go from there. I never changed the wires, I did change the plugs about 2,000 miles ago when I had a fuel injector issue. Thanks for the help I will keep you posted.
