Default Wastegate or boost controller or both

I don't know what to get but the redline boost is making me mad! I am assuming to get both but i want to see what u guys and girls think. And I was wondering what products you guys and girls would recommend. I know that almost everyone goes with the AGP wastegate and a good boost controller but i dont know a good one, so any input would be nice on what to do. Another thing is a wastegate a plug and play kinda thing or do u have to "tune it". I think all you have to do is set the boost but im not sure! thanks everyone

red line boost??I've run with just awastegate and b/c, to tell you the truth you'll save some money by just buying the wastegate,it didnt make a diff. for me having a boost controller.Yes you have to tune it, very easy...all you'll need is a 7/16 wrench or an adjustable wrench. You'll prob. get instructions on how to tune with the new wastegate...remember dont go past 20 psi!!

i mean by redline boost, when you get to near redline i hate how the stock wastegate cant handle 15 psi so it goes down to 12., thanks for the tip

look you car spikes over 20 but can't hold it, this is due to a big lack of fuel and your pos stock wga.You shouldnt go over 20 because the truth is, you wont be making any power (small turbo)and could seriously hurt your motor, Ive seen it happen.Get your fuel setup first and then raise the boost.

the mbc does help you just don't notice it. it helps with the ptb issue. you should get both, it really makes a difference if you tune it in properly. set the wga at 12psi and raise the boost with the mbc, don't go past 15 psi or so on the stock fuel system.

you have to take the eyelet off the waste gate are and spin it. Less threads = more boost. Just remeber that the Stg2 WGA only holds about 7psi on it's own, so leave it on PCM controlled boost. This is actually the way to go IMO. I did the whole wga & mbc and the ptb drove me nuts! If you have a wideband then you know what I'm talking about. Can't give it any gas through the corners, it's either all or none, etc.
