Ok to make a long story short...My bro had a 02 SS camaro. I have stage 3. Well when he first got the car...it was stock...I killed him. Now he has drag radials,long tube headers, a 3:90 gear ratio, and true dual exhaust, also a 75 dry shot of nitrous. Well we raced again sort of really we were just messing around. So we were side by side coming to a stop about 25 mph. We both hit itand only got to about 85 mph. And to my total amazement he was right beside me. I couldn't pull on him at all. And he swears that he "DID NOT" spray the nitrous. What Happened? Just looking for some thoughts about what happened.

Yeah i bet he did too....I told him we will race again and the bottle will NOT be in the car. Then when I beat him...he can put the bottle back in

 

i can definetly see a good race with the bottle. without it there's no way he should beat you. assuming of course that your car is in good running order and boosting properly.

 

2 things....either he's spraying, or you can't wot **** for s%&t!!!!

 

I think even a 50shot would make it a good race. Gearing when it come to Tran's Am's and Camero's make huge differences. Just hope he doesn't add a nice cam and head combo then you will have trouble

 

my cousin has a TA and put lower than stock gearing in it so he accelerates like a ****!!!! that car is fast jack....but his top end suffers greatly because of it....also the v-8s fight for traction while we are leaving them in dust...

 

try racing him out of a dig....I've seen a bone stock WS6(auto)run a 13.8.....while most srts out there run low 14s while stock.Not saying we can't be in the 13s but its pretty hard....I think we are the ones fighting for traction!!!

 

i used to racethis kid at my schoolsz28 when my car was stock all the time and hewould have me by like half a car into 2nd and then i would pull onhim allthe way through 3rd and into 4th. i always had him by alot by then and it was a city street by our school.ive beat plenty of z28s buti dontreally knowthe differences between a z28 and a ss. i dont think thereare tomany. i justhate chevysto muchto reallycare.
