I saw the clip of the SRT vs Evo. I admit that I expected the losses from a roll but, the Evo driver never should have lost that dig. It seemed that he let off soon after he launched. Whether he missed a gear or not, dunno. It was a poor showing. Not a very good racing example. The SRT has the torque to kick a$$ but, putting it to the ground from stop would give it the disadvantage. Classic issue for FWD's

if all 3 car's are in stock trim the srt will take a evo but not a sti. Remember the 300hp/ft lb's and 271hp and 273ft lb's are not their whp and wft-lb #s. Then take in the fact they both weigh 300lb's more than a srt. The Last #'s i seen posted for a stock sti 15-35 whp and evo 10-25 whp more at the wheels than the 230 whp for the srt at 2900lb's. I raced a sti from a stop and he never got a full car lenght on me and we were both stock at the time. The evo should be a pretty easy target for a good driver

that guy in that vid has quite a bit done to his car. ive seen quite a few vids of this kid and it always says "slighly moded" but ive seen him take that evo 8 like it wasnt in gear, 03 cobra, 3rd gen turbo eclipse. so i dont think thats a fair assesment of a stock srt vrs evo.

TurboPowered I have the sweetest video of an SRT-4 smoking an EVO VIII probably 3-4 times. The EVO wouldn't race so the SRT-4 driver had to put gas in his car for him lol [>:]. A couple races from a roll and a few from a standstill. Sweet video

I dunno what he has done to his car...I have another video of an SRT-4 vs and EVO VIII and the SRT-4 gets his *** handed to him. Its just one of the two that I have. All three STi videos that I have, modded or not the SRT-4 takes him. I've taken an STi and Evo VIII stock....then again for some reason my car's on crack straight out of the factory....and I don't know why. Paul, who's driven tons of SRT-4s, said that mine was the fastest stock one he's driven....interestingly enough...

More evo 8 and wrx sti...there not that much faster...key word.....all wheel drive....1.6 engine vs 2.4 do the math...have a great vid of a evo doing a burn out......backfiring and wating for a tow truck....lmao...its so funny...

the 2.4L in our cars destroys 4.6L mustangs (espec. the 96-98 model years)... more liters/cubic inches doesn't mean jack...
