Default EVo 8 and Subaru STi

..I was down in Detroit Saturday night at the usual gathering spot, telegraph and joy road and there was a e-blue srt-4, an Evo 8, and an STi, all brand new....i was wondering how the SRT-4 matches up with the Stock Evo8, and STi....i think i would have been beat considering all i have is OCC, and a BOV....but im not sure, if i would have been beat, how badly would i be beat if i had BOV, OCC, MSD wires, and a CAI....i know the CAI is basically the only mod that i will have that makes some kind of increase in power....I have the CAI in my garage i just havent installed it yet along with the MSD wires...................Input please

The Evo and Sti will beat you but at a cost of $10,000 more, so it's not a matter of which car is faster, it's a matter of which car has the most bang for the buck......which is the Dodge SRT-4.

Sorry, but I forgot to factor in all the infinite variables of the universe, including phases of the moon, ouiji board readings, and sun spots......[sm=guilty.gif]

Word!!! And which one looks better. Personally I think the STi is heinous anus on four wheels, and the Evo which I test drove is like riding in an aluminum box on wheels. I'd chose the SRT-4 any day of the week....I don't wanna pay no 35 grand for a piece of aluminum, hot wheels are .99 cents!!

It also depends on the driver of the other car too, I ate an STi for lunch cause the kid driving was a tard. LOL Kinda funny. And no the BOV gives you noise, not power. And the CAI would help considerably if it was put on. lol just kidding hunn.

Turbo, we'll have to hook up this Spring... I have spent many nights on Woodward and Telegraph cruising with my SRT and with my buddies Cobra!!! It's so much fun "cruising" down there!!

Look out for an 01 Yellow Cobra on BBS rims

nothing like that. i beat an evo from a roll when i was stock, and i'm certainly not the only one to do it. it depends on the driver, you probably just haven't seen it done before....

Definitely - Have beat 2 EVO's from a roll myself - 4wd leeches a lot of power.

From a dig - 'nother question - get stg.2 and you'll be in business.

STI - pretty tough to beat. displacement makes a difference (2.0-2.5).
