In my opionion, keep as little insurance as possible. That will get your rates way down. Mine is 600 every 6 mounths and I have a terrible driving record. Granted my coverage is terrible, and if I get in a major, major accident, I may be in some trouble. But don't be scared, you don't have any assets that they can get, so in that case, it's like trying to get water from a stone. If you are going to be tied in with your parents, where they may be partially resonsible, I would recommend getting plenty of coverage, but if you go out on your own, it may be worthwhile. A lot of states make underinsured, non insured insurance as part of the deal. Take the chance and see your rates go down. When was the last time you knew someone who was in a very, very expensive accident. A freind of mine was paralized and the guy got off pretty much scott free, nobody would take his case, because they knew the guy couldn't pay. Yeah it sucks. But that's just the way it is. Be a safe driver and don't get in a wreck, when you get older the rates will drop, Good luck.

When (not "if") you're in an accident and being sued, what kind of lawyer do you think the insurance company is going to hire to represent you in court if you have the minimum coverage possible.......yup, the cheapest one they can find.

No thank you.[:'(]

would i have traded my RT for the SRT4, my insurance would have gone from 990 a year to 1050 a year. my driving record is perfect..no accidents..no tickets...yet buying a 4 door makes it go up??

just one more thing that turned me away from the SRT.
