Do you have a WGA or bleeder valve too? Or are you running bone stock with 19psi??

I had heard the stock system was only rated for 18psi safely (this may not be accurate - take with a grain of salt)

No tap in with the return hose from the manifold to the wastegate I love the turbo spool Loud sounds like a BOV with I let of the gas.

My partner in the shop that I am opeing is real good friends with Doug here http://www.ddynopower.com/

He built a Boost controller free to tap in Like the home made ones?? but it works good I thought the stock BOV could to but I went to srtforums.com and did some reading they have alot of people pushing 22 23 psi on the stock with no problems.

Quick I will try to make a little video tonight and put it on here if you would like (try I no how to make the video just getting it on the computer??)

Kevin with the AWD Talon knows Doug Know alot of tricks of the trade and how not to screw up stuff by doing it RIGHT!!!

Dude, that turbo wont make any extra power past 19 psi. In fact, I would limit it to 17-18 max. Tha turbo can't flow any more volume after 19 psi. It will make boost past 19, but it wont flow. See Sport Compact magazine , sept 04 or oct 04. They have a dyno test on stage 2, alot of interesting things they discovered. They put a straight pipe cat bypass and lost like almost ten horses without the converter. Plus, when they pushed 18+psi, the computer went to full knock retard on the timing, another 10 hp. Be carefull, detonation will kill the headgasket. You wont hear it either.

I get you on the detonation, but how are people running 22-23 psi boost with just a boost controller and no BOV or stage 2 PCM?

That I dont know I was reading it?? But it not going to be the only upgrade I am going to order all my upgrades 6K in about a week and build my exhaust and ect.. But if its to much boost the stock BOV with just bleed out!?

they r not hitting 23 psi on a stock car...cut is at 18.5 on stage 0, some cars r more picky than others tho, i know some people that as soon as it hits over that it cuts...but on my car it has to b held there for a little while for it to cut...i am running 18...maybe aproching 19psi on my stage 0...
19 psi is safe on a 04, just make sure u r below like 16 at redline or your introuble...but i doubt u r gonna have that prob with the stock WG. the stock spring isnt very strong...
