Default Ride Quality Question

I am expecting a set of Eiback Pro Kit springs for x-mas. Life is grand. However, does anyone have these installed? My main goal is to level the car out a bit. As we all know, the SRT-4 looks like a rocker hotrod, jacked up in the rear. Are these springs a good ride in the car or should I revamp my wishlist?

Note: Coilovers are out of the question for the time-being

I personally like the racked up look of the SRT-4, but each to their own......

"springs" and "good ride quality" don't belong in the same sentence

They drop the car nicely.... but the ride quality is going to be compromised.......it's not too bad though.

You could try TEIN springs and see how you like them...but I fear the look and the ride quality would be two very different things...I have yet to find out a good comprimise.

TEIN, has a good tech support and advise...knowledgeable...not monkeys on phones.

The Tein springs in my buddies car are quite a bit more bouncy than my eibachs.....the difference could be in the struts I have though ....

The combo I used to have was Tein springs with Tokico struts/shocks...it was OK, but only until you would hit like 55-60, but before that speed - forget it! A Ruff Ride for sure.

I did actually get on the phone with Tech people from Tein and Tokico, both were helpful - one even claimed he helped design this and that for such and such body frames...yad yada..

It took me a while and Inow understand why these things are "tuned" at the factory...because after5 different changes, Iwas still unhappy with ride height and ride quality.Any kind of change you make is going to effecthow it rides...every time!

Thanks All, I think I'll try the Eibachs for now, and trade my wife in next year for some coilovers

i have the eibachs in my car and they are nice i'd have to say. the drop is perfect IMO but the ride is a bit more rough. You'll get used to the ride quality quickly, your passengers will eventually.

+1. But they really are not that bad. (mine is an ACR so it may be rougher than yours will be)
