hieveryone, im indeed a newbiee here. I own a gto and im thinking about trade it for a srt4, but i need some help.. The srt4 that im planning on buying has a lot of stuff done and i would like to now ahead of time how much hp to the weels is putting down. Keep in mind this car was own by a police officer so obviously he was not concerned about speed wise lol. Ok so i opened the hood and i lookedmost of the mods..blow off valve, aftermarket intercooler, aem cold air intake, im assuming this car is tuned..not sure though? i took it for a ride and boy is it fast? It was pushing 21psi and i wanted to know how many hp to the wheels 21 psi can put down? thanks for all the help guys

 

what turbo is it?
stage 3 or the agp turbo stage 4

 

i have no idea, but i dunno if im going to get it thou...cuz some people at the charger forums told me that if that engine is not built then the engine would blow after 3 days.....now im more clueless.. can any of you guys drop some knowlege here thanks

 

 

the stock engine can handle 500hp stock..but to be safe people only take the stock internals to 450hp...if its at 21psi its at about 370hp to 400hp...

 

can i lower the boost of this car to let say 17-18psi, and be safe there.......or what do i do? is 21pis safe at all meaning for the transmission, clutch, etc? should i not get the car?

how did the owner treat it?
why is he selling it?
how much is he selling it for?

 

This car is being sell at a dealership...the owner traded in for a tahoe....the cars has 56k miles on it but everything done to the cars seems to be proffesionally done...The car run fast and i did not notice any problem whatsover...but now im confused if this car is running to much boost? here is the link

if you can get pictures of the motor it would be great to see what kind of turbo it has.
i think its a pretty good price...

 

yeah the turbo looks stock...my problem is the following. Is this car reliable with 21psi? if so, can i lower the boost to be safe?
