Took delivery,then BAAAAMMM
Took delivery today of real nice '04 SRT-4 Black with 33,000 miles. This was the 3rd one we looked at, and bought it the same day. After the paperwork cleared the dealer dove it 130 miles to my house yesterday. After making a few rounds to a few friends to show off the new ride, my son then took it to show his friends. On the way home he hit a deer [:@]. He is OK but now I'm looking for a headlight, left front fender and possibly a bumper cover. There are 2 small cracks in it from the impact.12 hours and 68 miles later it is parked[X(]. As posted in the newbie section I am unfamiliar with the Neon and I am looking at the possibility of aftermarket parts. Any suggestions??

I know the feeling but mine is on the other side of the payment book. just paid off the wifes jeep and bam creamed by a high school kid.....3 years 42,000 miles later parked at the auto body shop
if you neednew headlights you can get aftermarket ones as a set for just a little more than stockers. i got a set of black housing headlights for something like $190. the bumper you'll have to just get from the dealer or a junkyard unfortunetly.
congrats on the car, too bad about the accident though. glad that your son is ok though, that's the important part.

sucks guy. i agree on the headlight, for a little more you can get nice aftermarkets. the fender shouldnt be hard to find in a junkyard. but the SRT front bumper may be a little harder to find in a salvage yard.
That's too bad. At least your son is ok. I have deer around my area and I take it extra slow.
Good luck with everything.

Anybody have these on a black neon?

Got a factory fender from the scrap yard, same P8X paint code. Should be able to wax it and then hang it. With a $500 insurance deductable (to keep the rate down)I wont be going thru insurance. The hairline crack in the bumpercover will be the next hurdle. Will be ordering the aftermarket headlites today, that's an upgrade and will sell the RH light later. So far still only 68 miles since purchase, but a snow storm is coming tonite.....
