Default Stage 2 wga adjustment?

I have tried to search, but to no avail.

I just put in stage 2 and toys last weekend and adjusted the wga to 4 mm with preload. I am running about 15 psi in second and third and fourth with a gradual build to 16 or 17 at the top end and would like to see 17 psi a little quicker(it takes a while to get there).

I was wondering if I need to make the space (4mm) smaller or larger to increase boost?

So, I assume more of a gap at preload is = to more boost.

I shall try this.

Now I'm confused - someone at Modern just told me that I need the space to be smaller to get more boost.

And another source said shorter.

Which way is it?

So far it's 3 to 1
shorter to longer

all the stage 2 cars that we've worked on we've set at 5mm after trying 4. all ran better and showed more bost at the 5mm setting. modern can tell you whatever they want, all i can tell you is what my, and other owners cars, run better at.
