Hello grammar.

Seriously - the 03 has no LSD.
The 'teg is a good car. I miss my buddies' Type R.
Get the SRT-4 and you won't be dissapointed. I was a Honda guy once, but my 2004 has changed all of that.

Oh, and welcome to the site; I see you are a pretty new poster.

Get an 04/05 for the LSD and the bigger injectors/and 15 more ponies. Then wonder why you waited so long!

Just think, if you get an SRT-4 you've easily dropped 3 tenths off your Integra's previous best time and you haven't even touched the SRT-4 yet. The '05's have a lesser warranty than the '03 and '04 and the '03 doesn't have a LSD, so your best bet is getting an '04, that way you have a LSD and the better warranty. If the warranty isn't that big of an issue to you, then definately go with an '05.

Also be aware that some dealers will TRY to void your warranty if you put on Stage 1, or other mods according to others who have posted on this site.

Personally, I have Stage 1 with other mods and haven't gotten any hassle from my dealer when it comes to service/warranty work. I DID check out the dealer's reputation for service before I bought the car with the BBB and also asked around with people I know. I also make it a point to document both good and bad service I get from my dealer....they evidently respect that, at my last oil change I was in/out before I had a chance to finish a cup of coffee....

Just remember, they're supposed to have to prove any mod you make caused the failure of the warranted part. Be nice, smile a lot, and bring donuts with you.....and it you're a cop, wear your gun.[sm=smiley36.gif]

Hello grammar.
haha yeah sorry about that. i was in a rush. trying to type before i went to work. i will have to save a little more for the 04 since they are still the same price as the 05's. but i do like the lsd. especially since the srt is already hard to get traction with.

You will be happy - the wait is well worth it.

And try to get the 04 while you still can if warranty is an issue for you. If not, I'd be all over the '05.

Plus if that dealer won't do any discounting, look around. They say they won't discount, but I found one I liked and made them discount it. Then again it was the third dealer I went to.

Good luck.

Check out the factory
invoice for the SRT-4 and you can deal from a better position. Any discount you may get won't be large, if it is, you'd better double check what they gave you on your trade in, if they added on credit life, your interest rate, any extra warranties, vehicle protection plans, etc., etc.

They have a million ways of making up any money they may have "lost" on the sticker price.......

Yeah there isn't too much in these cars. So as far as "discounts" they won't be substantial. You'd also have an easier time discouting Black and Silver. When I worked for Dodge, those were actually...the two least popular colors (believe it or not, I think silver is the most popular nationwide, but in RI people were like huh? Wheres the blue?). But they'd do anything to get the black one to fly out the door. Blue, Red, and Orange you'd have a tough time with. And Orange is a bit more (something like $150). But if theres any new 04s near you, I'd get the 04, as stated before you have the 7/70, but if that doesn't matter to you, and your going to be adding enough stuff to void the warranty anyhow, then go with an 05.

The 03 that you drove...was it brand new? Or did it have mileage on it? I'm trying to figure out if you said the 03 was quicker or the 04.... If the 03 had mileage on it that would be why. But by all technical information the 04's have the higher HP rating **from dodge. The more mileage you put on these cars, the more responsive and faster they become. (In the break-in stage). I've noticed it bigtime with my car.
