catch can not catching.
hm.....I have the same issue....i had maybe two or three drops in the bottom of the $20 occ.....but i still seen some liquid in the top where we recycle the gas vapor (seen some at the outlet)...so....im thinking im gonna intsall a sponge or something to soak up the drops just in the top of the can so the gas vapor can still get thru...but not the water/oil mix...
Most are set up like this, with the IN and OUT at the same level. this allows for blowby to occur, although not much: (rough sketch)

this type of can functions much better, since the oil comes in lower and (mostly) will only ever drop down... the outlet is at the top. only thing is the can wont hold quite as much for the size as the one above.
as for the very very small 20 occ that can be built. not saying its a total waste, but there is such a small area for the oil to collect, and the in/outlets are so close together, blowby might be more pronounced. this issue happened to me once where i wasnt seeing anything collect. turns out the bottom of my occ had the seal ever-so-loose, that it was causing anything collected to slowly drain out. never noticed a boost leak though, i think it was only leaking when not under pressure or something, dunno

same here...mine is hooked up similar to the second diagram posted above....not catching much of anything...course theres not supposed to be alot to catch...still going to find a filter type material to stick into the top of the occ..

Mine starts filling right after I empty it..($20 version) but you have to take care not to lose the little rubber "O" ring when you unscrew it. Did a thorough check of car over the holidays and found some clamps starting to work loose that could eventually cause a boost leak......

I've been noticing that mine has not been getting full like it use to either and mine is like the one pictured at the top. Mine are sealed and leak free and I think the reduction is due simply to the engine sealing better creating less blow-by, especially since it's not even at 25K miles yet and like most have used synthetic oil from the beginning. Another thing that could lower the amount of oil in the catch can is the PCV getting stuck or just driving easier.
the more you spool up, the more youll get blowby. so if your grannying the car around as compared to how you ripped on it when it was new, youll get less accumulation.
