Default Tires

I'm running 235/40/17's on some chrome black rims....I was pretty pleased with the traction...

In your own opinions....what are the best tires??
I think i remember alot of you liking a particular brand tire...
I just want great traction

a lot of people like the stock kdw's. they're a good tire but just don't last too long imo. i'm running eagle f1's and i love them, but they're kinda pricey. i got a good deal which is why i got them.

just stick with bfgoodrich g-force as long as you use the proper fitment for size.

I'm running on Pirelli P6's and have no problems. A fair ride and good traction for me.

i just stick with the stock KDWs. picked up quite a few 'lightly used' ones cheap when people got different rims/tires. never tried any other tires on the car. right now im running hancook winter tread195s on 15" steelies.
my sxt, i ran bfgoodrich traction t/a allseasons... great tires and great snow traction!

which brings up, if anyone has any of those type of KDWs sitting around the garage, hit me a pm

i've always liked goodyear f1's, or you could try a poor man's f1 like the nexen n3000 tire. i'm running n3000's now and really like them.

I bought a set of Falkens that are 225s.

What's the longest you guys have gone with your tires? They say my ZR17s are going to maybe last 30,000. I doubt it's even going to be close to that high.

GForce and Eagle f1's are both nice ....... I wouldn't buy a Kumho... they are "cheap" tires.
