I am wondering about the two hoods, i have heard the ip2 has fitting problems or something, input please...and Tell me which hood you like, VOTE!!

The Ip2's hood intake looks larger. is it? does it allow more air?

Yes PSI Chick does have it. I don't know about the ducting being different though, ask her.

I'm getting the Carbon By Design OEM CF Hood. For a few reasons.

1. I don't think the IP2 hood flows with the body lines of the car, the IP2 is very rigid, the SRT isn't a rigid car. Though I do like the design of the IP2, it just doesn't fit right to me.

2. The CBD Hood is a perfect OEM fittiment, there is no customization neccessary. (I can't speak for the IP2 on this subject as I don't know)
3. The CBD Hood also extended the front of the hood slightly to fix that unsightly gap that DCX left there.
4. Even though the CBD Hood is around $560 dollars plus shipping, it appears to be of good quality to me. Heres some more pix of the IP2, and the CBD.

I'll have pix of my CBD at the end of next week when I get my car back. I'm ordering it tomorrow.

the front duct is longer than the stock one. it's not as high, but it's longer. it also has the two smaller ducts further up the hood that are also functional. more air is moving around the engine bay than with the stock hood. there were no modifications that had to be done to the hood other than expanding the holes for the washer nosels, and bringing up the stock locking mechanism about a 1/4".

I prefer the IP2 with it's larger scoop as well as added vents.
