Ok, so I found out my intercooler is bent pretty bad under the car. It is pretty much shaped like a V, someone must have run over something that pushed it up against the frame. Also, the bumber is cracked right behing the license plate holder. The dealer has agreed to have an estimate done and fix everything.

I am wondering if I am leaking boost; it spikes to about 11-12 then holds to about 10, then drops to about 9 or so after 5000 rpms. Sound like a leak or stock #'s?

 

Boost leak.... if the intercooler is bent that bad, then there is your leak.

 

What would be a good replacement intercooler? I would probably jack up the boost a bit to safe stock levels, thats it. How much you think? Thx.

 

For Intercooler go to www.exhaustdepot.com .... You need to find out what's in your car first before you start raising the boost.

 

You should at leasr hit 13-16 once you get that leak fixed...then it will ease back to 11-13.

 

i have seen stock intercoolers go for as cheap as 50 bucks. and your boost is running rather on the low side. chances are the bent i/c is your problem there.
