So now, besides a bent intercooler, I am trying to figure out what is done to this thing. I opened the trunk and found a stage 2 PCM laying on the floor; no toys in the dash, but all i can find is a little toggle switch on the left side under the dash; doesnt seem to do a thing when I flip it.

I would love to use the stage 2, but i dont know if I have upgraded injectors or wastegate upgrade; here is a pic of the waste gate on it, prolly can't tell though if it is the stage 2 one.

My question is this...how do I tell what injectors / wgaI might have? And is it safe to run the stage 2 comp on possibly stock injectors and a stock waste gate?

I cannot see the pic because I am at work.... does the arm on the wastegate have an adjustment nut? ...The arm that is under the heatshield... or should be if it's still on the car. DoNOT run the stage2 pcm with the stock WGA and Injectors.

 

I can't even really tell from my own pic, LOL. I don't have the car with me to look at, I will later. Where the hell is the computer located in this car?? If I have a stage 2 laying in my trunk, i wonder what is actually in the car.

 

Take the airbox off to get to the PCM....

Take a bunch of pic's and I'll look at them after work..... the pcm is behind the drivers side headlight... like dusty said, take off the airbox.

 

Ok, it has an open air intake, so I guess i should be able to see it pretty easily. Are the injectors easy to spot stage 1 (stock for me) or stage 2?

the wga looks stock. the previous owner probably had s2 in the car and took it off and possibly forgot that the ecu was in the trunk. if the numbers match then just get the other parts and use it. you need to check your injectors. remove the rail and the injectors and look at the o-rings. the stock injectors will havea blue o-ring, the s2's will be black. also check your map sensor, it's located on the intake manifold. if it's a s2 one it will say 3 bar map sensor on it. the stock one has just a part number.
