I'm guessing here that is a bigger turbo. Doesn't a bigger turbo mean more lag? How is this remedied?

Perhaps bigger injecters and a PCM reprogram, That's just a guess though.

Makes me wonder why they didn't follow up on the VNT system from the 90's. It seemed to work well.

yes its bigger but lag will be there but there are ways to compensate on that.......its not super ubber huge its just big........i should hit full boost by 2900-3100rpm and hold till redline
