Default Normal Boost in 1st

What should I be seeing for normal boost numbers in 1st gear?

I am stock, no mods.

I am luck at WOT if I see it hit 1 or 2 mostly just bearly at 0...is that normal?

The rest of the gears are fine.

Thanks for any help.

If it were a boost leak, especially a substantial one, it would suffer the loss in all gears and not just in 1st.

srt4ever,
You say the boost is fine in all the other gears, how much boost is it showing in those gears?

^yeah, depends on what 'fine' is in other gears. also, where does your boost gauge sit when you are at idle, and where does it read when the car is off?
does your car feel any slower than it used to (all gears)?
either you got a massive boostleak as psi said, or you have a busted boost gauge

I guess I owe you people an appoligy...I pushed the pedal to the floor in first just yesterday, to recheck what is going on(I have not done this before!!!) I watched the boost guage closely...I hit about 5-7 PSI and then I backed off, the tires were smoking and squeeling!!! Sorry, I guess everything is just fine....

glad things seem normal, but as mentioned it wouldn't hurt to check the obvious clamps for boost leaks. my factory clamps were 2-3 turns loose at cooler, pipes, tbody and the turbo. i've since upgraded all to t-bolt clamps and making roughly 18.5 pounds boost to redline on warm days and 15 when it's 20 degrees out. [stage 2 numbers]
