before i add any fluid i wanted to ask if Prestone's high temp synthetic dot 3 brake fluid will mix with regular dot 3, or will i need to flush all the old fluid out first? thanks.[/align]

I've never heard of synthetic dot 3......you sure it doesn't say exceed dot 3? ... I remember it being dot 5. something.

I've added plain old (STP) DOT 3 fluid to mine for $1.25 a bottle.....no problems.

Hmm... not really worth the money if you ask me, but I found this on their site.

Fully compatible and miscible with Conventional Brake Fluids.

I have ran the Valveoline Full Synthetic in the last neon sxt, course I did bleed the whole system with it. I think they will mix but it would be better to just bleed the whole system with the synthetic
