avoiding actually litigating it would be a good idea. you could always consider mediation / arbitration as well. great alternative to a long haul lawsuit. but when looking for a settlement, remain reasonable... just dont let them give you a half-assed offer (like paying half of the damage only)

 

$200 is not worth going to court over.... IMO. At best I would get a threatening letter from an attorneys office and if they don't respond with a settlement...... I would then let it go and move on with your life.

 

final update: i threatened a lawyer they said they will pay the whole bill and i now have my car back so im happy just stressed over a long week of no car and bs thanks for stickin wit me thru this crap and supportin me!
