I have a 95 with some basic upgrades. It is an awd 5spd. Roughly 300hp.
Really fun car, but they keep you busy with repairs. I am looking for something
a little bit more day-to-day that can haul my kids.
I value the car at roughly $4000.

 

maybe if you add 10k to that trade someone might consider it.

DSMs definately have their good and their bad.

The launch of an awd is awesome, no comparison. However, these cars are notorious for always needing tlc. Combine the age of these cars and trying to use it as a daily driver. I am tired of it.

They make a low dollar; high hp tuner that can handle with the best.

i wasn't joking. you really think someone will consider trading straight upa car that even with high miles can get 10-12k in a salefor one that you value at 4kand you admit has problems? i'm sure you can find some fool to do it, but anyone with half a brain wouldn't even consider it.

 

yeah, no one is going to trade you straight up for a skittle unless its a pure pos. even one in remotley decent condition is worth twice yours.
as your being honest about repairs well be honest about the car's value. most of our cars are still worth roughly 15k.
but good luck with the sale, perhaps you can sell off and get a little financing on a skittle!
