Last Night i got pulled over and they gave me a ticket for having a "modified exhaust system" yet i havent even done anything to the exhaust yet, so i am going to fight this. Where and how can i prove that the cars are just naturally loud? Thank you for any help

 

Our exhaust is standard with no mufflers, show the police this info. and info on the net, is also to be found as well. Heck, a Youtube video even decares this!

Its trumped up...you can fight this ticket and win.

 

same **** happened tome! be prepared to go through a lot of bull**** with the cops! got pulledover with 200 miles on the car and told her it is brand new and showed her the odometer, didnt believe me she said sumtin must have hit it. i just said you will be hearing from me and drove away. i had to contact the dealership and they had to call the sheriff in our county and resolve it that way took like a month.

 

Oh i definitly am going to fight this, especially where he told me i didnt yeild when entering a rotary yet i did downshift to slow down and i did look, not too many people out @ 130am and i get a ticket for something completly different, he was just lookin for an excuse

 

Sounds like it to me, lucky I haven't gotton pulled over yet and I also have the stock system. I just want to see what they say about my license plate frame which says" I know, I know License and Registration" LOL I love it

you might just be able to use some printouts, such as the factroy exhaust diagram. but best bet might be to have a dealership certify that it is, in fact, stock exhaust

its about time i find someone else from mass on this forum but yea you can either go to the dealer any dodge dealer or just get a diagram online stating that the car comes with a performance exhaust on it without any mufflers. i think mass is the only state thats **** about any mods if you even have bigger rims and you drive around fall river you'll get raped by the big dick of the law [sm=icon_quiet.gif]

 

If you knowanyoneat a dealership, go in there with your vin# (parts dept.) and they can print out a assembly list of every installation that is in your can at the time it came off the assemby line. I got one before I bought my srt8 Mag. It is around 4 full pages. Cant remember the exact name of the report, but they do have access to it. I myself have not been pulled here in Winston Salem, but have been looked at alot by the fuzz. I dick with them all the time, guess I AM PRESSING MY LUCK. LOL Good luck with the ticket.
