i need help
when i go wot and let off a big puff of white smoke shoots out my exhaust.....what can be causing this.....it only happens when i punch it and let off the gas[&:]....

I had the same problem with my 305 V-8 Trans Am...rings are going bad. At least thats my best guess, mine was also only at WOT.

Sounds logical..how many miles on the motor and how often/what type of oil used in the changes???

43,000miles... and i use full synthetic mobil 1 every 2500 miles....

white means the head gasket. if it was oil it would be blue smoke.
