Default srt-4 chokes

my car runs fine at all timesbut full boost, if i hammer it from 1st to 5th its fine but if im at a high gear low rpm and spool boost slowly, at 17lbs it coughs and seems to loose the boost for a split second...dosnt come out of BOV sound more like the intake...almost a backfire but not from the exhaust...i have stage 1, hks ssq bov, 3" air intake, msd ignition. and thats it. any ideas?? would a wastegate come into play, too much boost for it?

try downshifting. seriously. turbo's aren't happy when they're going from nothing to trying to get full power out of them.

Psi Chick is correct.... don't do stuff to your car that you wouldn't want your car to do to you.

Did you ever figure this problem out? My SRT is doing the exact same thing. I have stage2. It did the same thing before stage2. Took it to dodge and they didnt figure it out either.
