need some srt owners opinions please :)
well thanks for everybodys opinion... i have basically decided to just test drive it for fun and see what a srt feels like finally since i have never driven one and have wanted to since they came outlol i am gonna try and find a 03' or 04' for anywhere from 12-14,000 that has a clean title and a little higher mileage... i hear the 05 tranny is horrible... that true?

i like the price, i wouldnt pay any higher than that though. im pretty sure that light on the dash you see is the check engine light. go to the CODES page in the stickys and print it out. when you go check the car out again turn it on and off 3 times without actually turning it over and a code will come up and thats your problem. definitely triple check that wheel. if all else fails however, buy the car and turn around and sell it privately to a 16 year old with too much money. even if you sold it for 14g's theyd still see it as a good deal i would think. oh yea and even though it was fixed by a professional auto body shop, it was only fixed to the dealer's liking. all salvage titles seem to be repaired to the bare minimum to passfor resale.

and it really depends on the salvage. its good to know who built it. if building one to sell, it is only common sense to build it as cheap as possible to maximize profits. but if i were building one for myself, i would be much less likley to cut corners.
