Here is fact about the STi its faster than SRT-4, but you are paying 10 grand more. You put 10 grand into SRT-4 with aftermarket parts and put Stage 2 Turbo into SRT-4 you just made that STi muddy and added few more dents to it as you leave him in your dust.
I met friend other day who is 50 year old retired Firefighter Owns '03, '04, '05 SRT-4's he has completely Modified the '03 with Stage 3 Turbo /w toys and currently runs 9.4 quarter mile (Track Car, Not ran on street much). Now what he told me was STi is crap compared to SRT-4 when you put same amount of money into it. In my opinion SRT-4 is just better car for the money.

He's gotta have a lot more besides just Stage 3R (I assume we are talking about Mopar kits here) to pull a 9.4 1/4 mile. That would make him the fastest non-Mopar sponsored SRT-4 in the country. Nobody else has gotten out of the 11s. Surprised we haven't heard of this.

Never heard of that either. I'm with GLHS. SRTforums people are stalkers for times. And no ones out of the 11s without a Mopar sponsorship, he's right. That guy must've been throwing you hook line and sinker. The Mopar kits really don't add that much HP that would put his car into the 9.4 range. Theres only so much HP you can add to a FWD vehicle....on the stock end. Doesn't add up to me.

LoL...No he doesn't just have Stage 3 he has told me everything he had on it, but I just forgot it all. If you saw the car you probably won't figure it to be SRT-4. He said he altered the body to make it low to ground and a bunch of aerodynamic modifications. He said he has reduced weight on car also. But probably most obvious thing that made me believe him was fact he said he had 3 stage Nitrous running in it. And you guys thought those Mustang guys were bad. I'm sure he has put 20-30 grand into the car in mods.
