Good news guys and girls...i figured it out with some more testing and tuning..and now im on a tune where im peaking 5 psi and no backfire...so now im going to work my way up, and figure out at what psi im backfiring at...i have a question...if i have a stage 1 would tha computer have my VIN on it....b/c i am supposed to have a stage 1, and i was peaking 17 and it was cutting fuel and backfiring....and on stage 1 i thought 17 was safe and everything....

 

17 should be ok with a stage 1. Check the PCM it is located behind the driver side headlight. Pull it out and it should say stage one on it.

 

THANKS...I WILL LOOK AT THAT, BC I BOUGHT THE CAR USED AND IM STILL TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS DONE TO IT....

 

17might not besafe. all cars a different with mods and all.I got stage1 and I just got ascangauge and Im getting 6 knock retard and im lean at 17psi. Im thinking ill be be safe at 15 with no knock.I though 17 was safe too, now im finding out different, who knows!

 

yea, im peaking 16 right now thatt i fixed it, and now im just doing some tuning to figure out what psi i can run....ANYONE in the Dallas area?
