Default Shorty Antenna To Get Shorter

My 13" shorty antenna has worked great, but I spotted one a few days ago that will soon replace it. It was about the same price as the 13" one, but is only about 3 inches in length. It comes in two colors, I chose the silver for obvious reasons....

I dunno, just ordered it yesterday. $15 plus $5 shipping from Calif. The folks at Howell Automotive want $23.95 plus shipping for the same thing.

The one local radio station (AM) I listen to has gobs of power. I was able to pick it up on a transistor radio when I was stationed in Biloxi, Mississippi.....750 miles away.

I got my 13" rubber black shorty for 4$ at my autoparts store. I told the body shop to put that on instead of the stock gargrantuan dooky one. I don't listen to the radio anyways. I only use the CD player. So reception wasn't an issue for me. But that silver one should look awesome on the car. Make sure to take pix when you get it and install it!

Will do. I only listen to the news/weather on my way to work in the morning. The rest of radio is junk....90% ads or silly talk shows.
SIRIUS is going to be a consideration on my next vehicle if subscription prices stay low.

Yeah I was thinking satellite too. Radio stations are crappy. So I just use the 7disc that the Kicker has. I love it. My favorite 6 dics in the bottom, and a random ever changing one up top

Sirius is the only way to go. Once you get it, you never listen to the local radio.

Make sure you put in a whole new head unit if you do it. I had to buy one of the add on recievers for my wife's truck(can't replace the stock head unit. AC controls intergrated into it.) and it is nice, but not nearly as clear as a new head unit.
