I have a '04 and my manual says it's okay to use it but the performance will drop down. Keep in mind that when you put 91/93 back into the tank the pcm will have to adjust and go through it's calibration, or unplug the battery for a minute. To answer your question though, no nothing less than 91 and I tried 104 I believe ($4.99/gal) at Mobil and didn't notice a gain, definatly need Stage 2 w/ Toys.

I've got an octane booster that will work perfect for bumping your octane rating through the roof, but it would be illegal to run on the street and it will coat your O2 sensor and destroy your catalytic converter, it's tetraethyl lead. This is what they used about 50 years ago to turn gasoline into jet fuel for airplanes. But since it contains lead it wouldn't be good for your SRT-4 in the long run.

Don't bother with Race fuel or booster unless you have Stage 2 or upped your boost with any stage. My car was fine on pump 93 stock, and seemed ok
on that with Stage 1. I bought some VP 109 unleaded, six bucks a gallon, when the car was stock made no difference that I could feel. I have not tried the 109 since I started Mod's.
Since this thread is back, I just wanted to calrify, since I don't want to look silly to y'all, that I have s2 with turbo toys(and other stuff). I wouldn't think of bothering with a 50 $ tank of gas otherwise. I love spending 50 $ on a tank, now, though.A tick shy of 300 hp at the wheels is a beautiful thing.

Dude - I just noticed you're in /from Hawaii. [sm=smiley20.gif] I am very jealous right now. [sm=smiley13.gif] I am surrounded by cold crappy weather over here in Philly. How's it over there right now. You get to surf? If so, what part of hawaii are you in/near? (I didn't recognize the name of your city). I am from LA(miss my waves) and get to the coast once in a while, mostly New Jersey, when the weather is warmer, but not nearly often enough.

Anyway, hope the weather is good as usual over there.

I am going to go out in the 35 degree "not too bad" weather and pick up my pizza, now. [sm=gears.gif] At least my car likes the cold.
