Sorry to hear about all the trouble you are having with this experience. I totally know what u mean about it being like a child to you. I love mine too. I hope you get this problem resolved as quickly as possible with no one suffering any emotional (or physical)
pain. I hate the fact that I have and love this car but all the other crew chiefs that I work with are all about the muscle (8 cylinder) cars. So, all I get is **** from them for having a turbo neon.[:@] Well I hope everything works out great for you...and it wont be long till i get back to my black beauty also.

Thanks guys. I talked to him again today. I have to deal with the two damages rims and keep them. He's not replacing them, he got mad at me for saying it was the bodyman's fault. So I shut right up, whatever [&o]. I'll have to deal with him painting them. He's making me a sign a waiver that anything that goes wrong with these wheels and hood and such after the fact isn't his fault. Okay the hood fine I can deal with that, but his guy toasted my rims. So yeah, not happy bout that. [
] But I don't know how to stand up for myself, so I'll continue to get **** on cause I'm scared of the guy.
His logic is this: "You pay over $1000 for rims that your told are gonna fit....you shouldn't have to check them" But you should anyways. *sigh* I can't win. I have the worst fkn luck. And I don't want to lose my best friend over this, or get him and Bobby into a fight...so I'm meek little lamb because of that. Otherwise I'd be rip**** and going off on the guy. [&o]

FortWillys, I'm not the one that wants the rims to go back, I WANT those damned rims. HE wants them to go back, because he ruined them, and doesn't wanna put spacers on the car. Grrrr
So yeah I have to go to PepBoys tomorrow and buy NEW spacers because he won't do it. I might as well ****ing put them on myself too. Grrrrr [>:]
I give up. I lose. [&o] If I wait for him to hear back from his credit card....its 8 more weeks. Sorry I want my car and I want it now, this bull**** is enough. I can't put up with too much more of it and stay quiet.

Don't let that jerk off win. It's not your fault that your rims that you paid a lot of freaken $$$$ for is ruined. You sound like a strong woman. You have pics before and after tell him if he doesn't replace them that you will get into contact with a lawyer or turn him into the better business bureau. That's a bunch of crap. So I called him again this morning telling him that I found 3/16th (5mm) spacers. He wants to put longer studs on the car, and told me he'd call me back. Ahdunno what to do. *sigh* I'll just wait to hear back from him today or tomorrow and see what happens from there. I know theres a few SRT owners who are running longer studs...I just hope they aren't too much longer I don't want my wheel sticking that far out from the car. Thats gaff looking [

I agree, you shouldn't bring your friend into the middle of it. But as I said before, I think you should seek or at least threaten legal action. DO NOT SIGN the waiver[sm=noooo.gif][sm=noooo.gif][sm=noooo.gif], he may be writing it up with an older/previous date (like when you brought the car in) which will completely screw you [sm=forgetit.gif]if legal action is necessary. You didn't have to sign one before, so don't sign one now.[sm=exactly.gif]

Crystal; what if you take the car...........go around a corner............& one of the damaged FRONT rims fails?.................you'll be right back where ya started.w/ a damaged SRT...........IF NOT WORSE................plz. re-think this & get some legal help if you must._______5TOEZ________P.S. i used to work in a tire shop........& we would ALWAY'S fit check the wheels PRIOR to mounting the tires/lugs on em...............just in case there was a fitment prob.
