Why does Break Light Goes on When I floor it??
Just like the title, 03 SRT4 When floored (intermitant problem) the brake light goes on on the dash cluster?? Why does this happen? Anyone else experience the same problem? Its not the abs light, its the parking brake that lights, then it stops after the inertia catches up to it I suppose.
Realy, you serious? It seems too simple
Thanks Ill do that.
edit... after thinking about it it makes sence that It would happen in colder weather. Cold must be making the fluid more dense making the resivor lower than it would be in warm weather which would make the fluid expand.

actually it has nothing to do with the temperature. when your brakes start to wear the master cylinder moves further down in order to put pressure on the pads. when it has to move further down, more fluid is used. so now that your breaks are wearing down a little, more fluid is needed to do the same job. the light goes on because when less fluid is in the resevoir the sensor is exposed when you floor it.
