That happened to me as well during powdercoating. It was a hell of a lot of fun. The install is easy though, good luck.

The only difference with mine was I had NO idea what had happened to the car, because I never removed that sensor, the guy who did the work had. Took me some time to figure it out, one of the small blades was cracked off on the inside (the green piece). Stupid TPS.

when i got the car back from the shop the idle was high and sometimes when i would come to a stop the idle would bounce around for a bit then settle down the guys at the shop told me it was b/c my injectors were to big and the car thatught it was getting more fuel and thats how it burned it up however me and my buddy who works at the police garage here in my city threw the obd scanner on my car and the tps came up so i ordered the tps repair kit when we changed the wires lastnight the car was still doing the samething but it was more aggressive so i unplugged the harness and took off the tps itself and it was cracked in half so i put it back on and had my buddy push it towards the motor kinda putting it back together to see if it was the problem when i started the car it was running fine then he let go of it and the idle started bouncing around again so today i'm going to go buy a new tps and hopefully that is the end of that.

dang thats not my problem my idle is pretty steady....my vac is off at idle at 16 or 17...ive done my pressure tests this is driving me crazy....ugh...

i also found where my tranny leak is coming from....where my driver side front axle fits into the tranny...i guess the gasket or seal or whatever is shot cuz thats where its leaking from....

some guys put my car on a lift with my car running in first (guy was in the car on the lift)....to listen to the tranny under it and said it sounded ruff and it was gonna go out on me....the thing runs fine and pulls like a mother...it never slips or nothing i dont know what they were talking about but i thought they were rite cuz i had that tranny leak and i thought the car was dragged out b4 i got it....

replacing that gasket hard???? can i get a difficulty level from somebody??
