Spring is rapidly approaching, and I will be ordering Stage 1 for my SRT next month.

Q: How load is it over stock?

Q: Is the BOV(MOPAR) I have right now be even louder?

it's not much louder. a little more popping, that's about it. the mopa rice plate will actually become less annoying with s1, as it controls it better so it's not going off every .3 seconds and in reverse.....

 

Yeah the popping occurs much more. My Mopar BOV is absolutely ridiculously loud under boost. I'm not entirely sure why. And it doesn't go off all the time at all. Most do, mine for some reason doesn't. But with S1 it is controlled a bit better.

1.....no you won't see a big difference.

2.......no you're better off getting s1. don't be spending $400 though, get it used and have it reflashed. s1 is a starting point for modifications. it makes life a LOT easier later on.

AND...I have heard pros and cons to do doing this(reflash thing)...namely that some dealers wont
do it and other's frown apon it. Someone also said that getting a reflash would not help, and I
would have problems in the future with warranty and such...

Thats silly. Some dealers don't have a clue HOW to reflash. But reflashing can be done. I've seen in done, and everyone who bought theirs used had it done. If you can save the $200 then go for it. Not sure about that warranty thing either, that makes absolutely no sense to me. I never had an issue with my reflashed Stage 1 when I had a warranty. And I've had my S1 for 3 years.

After this is set I will try for a AGP wastegate.

 

in my opinion i wouldnt waste my money on a stage 1.... i would get a wastegate..and you would feel the difference than...get the agp or pt wastegate..

but than i gain its my opinion
