RE: $20 Oil Catch Can Install Directions Here!!!
A little. How often you have to empty it will depend on how hard and how much you drive. Just be careful not to lose the black "o-ring" that seals the plasticbottom to the metal top.
i drive everyday and it never fills up on me, it only gets about a quarter full and then i dump it, it deffinetly doesnt fill up after 300 miles of driving and i am worried alot is getting by and into my throttle body. And is that o-ring your talking about at the bottom of the catch can or or not because ive never seen it before?

If you have the Campbell Hausfeld plastic body/blue metal top type, there's a black rubber fitting on the bottom that covers the drain valve. Where the plastic body screws into the blue metal top, there's a small black o ring that fits around the top of the plastic body. It usually sticks to the plastic bodywhen you empty the oil, but mine has fallen off once or twice.
i believe that was Castrol fully synthetic 10w30. you can kind of see in the 1st pic, the gook is separated. its ligher up top and darker on the bottom (kind of like maple suryp) and the stuff on top was more watery and a mirky color.
