Stage 1 on the way!
Hey thanks for the directions, sounds pretty simple. I still question the warranty issue though. I would hate for them to try and tell me the stage 1 is the cause for a problem so the warranty would be void. I don't know as much as you guys do so I wouldn't know if I could argue a point. Has anyone on here with a stage 1 have any warranty problems? I hope not [sm=smiley1.gif]
If something serious did happen to the car, I'd unplug the Stage 1 and reinstall the original PCM prior to taking it into the dealer.......if I had a dealer that might give me "grief". But like I said, my dealer is cool about it and has done warranty work with no questions......
You can feel the difference because it pulls a little harder. If you have the Mopar BOV, that will sound a little louder and the sound will last a little longer. My Mopar/Borla exhaust now "pops and gurgles' like there's no tomorrow when I let off the gas (which isn't too often!!!)
You can also do WOT shifts with it as well, but I haven't gotten that brave.....yet.[sm=smiley2.gif]

Wide Open Throttle shift. It's when you shift without letting up on the throttle, this is not for beginners. It dramatically changes the way the car accelerates, it pushes you through the seat instead of into the seat. This makes an even bigger difference in a turbocharged car since it keeps the turbo spooled up going into the next gear. I have never tried it in my SRT-4, but I have done it a couple times in my '88 Shelby Z and [sm=smiley35.gif][sm=smiley35.gif][sm=smiley35.gif] did it ever make a difference![sm=jawdrop.gif][sm=happybounce.gif]

How much of a difference was there after you installed it?
