cool vid i found while on a WRX forum...didnt know if anyones seen it, thought i would share

very nice... that srt hung right with it. the sti would try to pull, then the srt would shift and gain it right back... It looked to me like in a long race, the srt would win. the faster the speed, the more advantage to the srt.

 

looked to me like that SRT was going to start to walk long run[8D]...i have another vid of an SRT racing a well modded EVO8....not too bad of a race either

looks as if the EVO has the slight advantage...niether cars were stock

 

It's good to see the srt-4 keeping up so well with those "higher end" cars.

 

ive raced both sti and evo8 and the only hp mods i have are cai, 8.5mm, and mopar/borla catback. the sti made no ground on me and when i got into 4th gear i was starting to inch in front. the evo8 was moded a bit and was at the track he ran .2 faster at 6mph less and he had a 1.6 60' and i was like 2.5 . not bad on eather vid... did that evo8 have 12.5 on his window? thats not a bad time.

 

not sure, it seemed that the evo was not stock. because in the STI vid the STI has a couple mods including a turbo back exhaust and the SRT was with him if not MAYBE inching...so the EVO def has mods

 

Does anybody know if that video was filmed here in houston Texas, byt the wetheimer and beltway area? Any houston people let me know.

 

If you read closely she said NEITHER cars were stock

 

I think that it is awesome that we dont even have to make up the price diff. in our cars to run w/ the EVOs and WRXs
