Yeah, I guess you're right. I've been beating the hell outta mine since day 1 and now it's 5 years and 100K miles later and the car runs better now than it did brand new! I take good care of her though.

As for 03 vs. 04-05, I was just trying to be helpful and pass info to theperson who started the thread. Itdoesn't matter to me what yearanyone decides to purchase or avoid, nor do I care what any elitists think. If they want to kid themselves into believing there is any major difference besides LSD, stage 1 injectors, an optional sunroof and kicker sound system, that's fine with me. I'm happy with my '03 and I was happy to have the 1st and only one most people saw in my area (for about 6 mos.) in May 2003 when I got it, and I'm not selling it any time soon.

And BTW, Motor Trend ran 13.9 and 0-60 in 5.4 in a 2003 model. I've seen 04-05s run low-mid 14s and the same or worse 0-60 times in a few mags. Not trying to say the '03s are better. Most of us know the '03 is virtually the same as the '04 & '05.I do just fine without the LSD and I don't need a sunroof 'cause I'm a vampire. And the stereo I installed is louder and sounds better than the Kicker Livin' Loud System without costing much more and I can play CD-RWs, MP3s, WMAs, and easily connect a USB device or iPOD (Kenwood H/U, Polk dB components and 6x9s, Alpine Power Amp, Infinity bass link).

 

i have an 03. i know that there's no difference, andi know that most of us run faster than 04/05's, it's everyone else that has 04/05's that doesn't want to believe it. you're preaching to the choir......

Like I said, though, I'm just passing along info and opinions. If people want to believe that having a LSD, stage 1 injectors and a claimed 15 more HP, let them. I'm not trying to sell them my 03! [sm=idontcare.gif]
