SRT-4 $$$for sale anyone?
so then it wouldnt be smart to buy it huh? i mean as long as the car isnt gonna break down on me the day after i buy it its all good, i love this car and want it pretty badly, but if it will break i dont want it, i will take a lookat it, if i can get pictures, and the mods/parts on the car.? let me know.
Build the engine. it is not as hard as you think. it is not easy, but it will save you money in the long run when you want to change up the setup, or have to do repairs. A bone stock srt engine in a 1G neon goes 12's. Nice starting point. i recommend getting a 96-99 2.4L from a yard, and having it rebuild with some srt internals and go from there.
ORIGINAL: Ghost Neon 2

That is true. The 2.4L engine I was referring to is out of a dohc stratus or cirrus between 96-99. The dohc heads with plastic manifolds (mainly 2001+) do not flow as well as the earlier heads, partly due to their smaller exhaust valves. That is why getting the srt rods would be a smart idea, as they are stronger than stock 2.4L rods.
