Hey guys im brand new here, and im dying to get onto an SRT-4, but the only problem is money, i have $6500 saved, and its all i can get, if anyone has an 03 they can sell for that price let me know, any year is fine, but an 03 is the lowest so i just figured its right to go with that first.

Probably have more luck buying a older neon and doing a swap. Just doubt u will find an SRT 4 for that much

 

lol i figured that too, but im not that mechanically inclined and dont have the money to have a mechanic do a swap. hah, but i figured hey maybe someone is rich and they can afford to let one go for that price ya know? theres always hope, but also if anyone has a amazing condition turbo car you can show me anything im willing to see stuff.

 

yeah bro the srt-4 neons are hard to come by i got mine while i was working at the dealership traded in my 08 lancer gts w/everything except a nav, for a neon srt 05 and got it for about $13,000 only 50,000 miles on it, so trying to get one with out having some work cut out is gonna be hard, i saw one here, in tacoma, WA at a dealership for about $10,000 not sure of the miles u might just have to do a lot of hunting and calling around dealerships keep your eyes peeled

keep banking up some cash. any SRT you find for 6k is probably very well "broken in"

although i have seen a swapped 1st gen go for bout the5k range.

rich folks dont tend to just give stuff away, as they wouldnt stay wealthy long with such practices.

 

You could only find one for that price...on Ebay.

Sometimes I see where there are salvage titled SRT-s on there for prices like that...

 

this one guy in my area 18337 is selling an 03 with 115k for 7500 stage 1
