Can you tell me how much a used hood usually goes for? I'm looking to buy one but I'm not sure of a price range I should be thinking of. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!!

 

It depends on who's selling it but I've seen them go between $300-$500 most often. $500 being a high price for a pristine OEM hood. MSRP on the hood is a bit over $1k. [/align]

Whoever bought that got a HELL of a deal. On 2GN.org people are stating between $300-500 as what they paid for color matched hoods, meaning they bought it from an SRT owner with the same color car (not meaning they had it painted).

often buying a particular part is easy, its getting it repainted that can be costly. i hear ya on the color-matched buying. got a bumper cover very cheap that way.

 

Yes it does come factory primed. But its around $1100-1200 new.
