Stage 3R is installed!!!!
Awesome hunn congrats
Keep it safe. And I've heard the same thing, even at low PSI and low acceleration you can tell its there for the taking....if you want it. Have fun with it

I'm trying
She had a very cool whistling sound on spoolup, upon investigation, seems that this means you are not airtight. So last night, spent some time doing a boost leak check, which worked just fine on my Forge BOV equipped car. Found my turbo outlet hose was loose. Tightened that up, which is a pain. So far, given my short commute, 7 miles, and wet roads, I didn't get a chance to boost past 10-12 psi.
Driveability is exactly the same as Stage 2, which is the same as stock. Oddly enough, my hard start and initial cold stall/stumble issues have diapppeared completely, which lends some credence to the thought that the S2 injectors are just a hair too much for Stage 2.
With the replacement of my complete fuel pump/regulator/sender/filter module, my gauge now operates differently. Prior, even when the low light came on, I never have put more than 8.5 gallons in. And with the light on blinking, 9.2-3 gallons. Even with topping off, my needle never went far enough above the Full line that there was space between them.
Fillled it up yesterday, light was not lit, went to 10.2 gallons. Needle was maybe a full 1/16th of an inch above the full mark. So theres some variation on sender units, since other S3R owners are reporting varied results on thier own gauges. I'm doing a city mileage loop now, results in a few days.
Oh, I forgot, a cliff notes on the install, for those of you who don't visit the SRTforums.
2 hours Friday night = Fuel rail, pump module, PCM
8 hours Saturday = Full old component removal, loose install of turbofold
8 hours Sunday = Complete except fluid fill, intake, and battery install
Monday = Auto Hobby Shop closed
Teusday = 1.5 hours
I was extremely **** about stuff, and took inordinate amounts of time on some stuff
But beats explaining to the CFO why I blew the install of a very exspensive kit
Since most here most likely won't attempt an install of this magnitude themselves (No Paul, I don't mean you
), if anyone wants more info, I'll post some links to more detailed stuff.
