Hey i'm new here but based on the info in my signature what do you think my car would run in a 0-60 and 1/4 mile? i dont know if anyone has a similar setup but an info would be great, thanks.

 

My guess would be 0-60 in the low 5s and the 1/4 mile in the low-mid 13s but there's only one way to find out for sure

 

I have two buddies with a similar setup. One ran a 13 flat and the other a 12.9. I too have a similar setup, but haven't made it to the dragstrip yet this year....

 

I haven't done alot of research but what I have read about the stage to is there isn't that much mods with that kit. As in alot I mean everything is just bolt ons. Seems like they can really come alive. Makes me wanna go out right now and buy one with a stage 2 so I can show my buds GTO up lol. He runs 13.2s in the 1/4

 

The times are about right, low 13's and with a good driver high 12's. But for the average guy low 13's.

 

hey would you guys know if the LSD was an option in '03, i know it was standard on 04-05 but on 03 i wasnt sure

 

LSD was not an available option on the '03. It came standard on '04s and '05s. It later became available for the '03 (the same Quaife unit that came on the 04-05) and could be added on, but the price is pretty steep. $1,500 for the part plus whatever they want to charge you for the install. I have an '03 and do just fine without it though, but it all depends on your needs. I don't think it helps all that much with 1/4 mile times provided you are a good driver.

 

LSD won't do much for you in a straight line (1/4 mile). The real benefits of LSD come in turning (road course)..... If you are looking to get LSD, it's cheaper just to find a used 04 or 05 tranny and slap it in....
